CONVEYANCING ASSISTANT
THAME
SALARY NEGOTIABLE
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join my clients busy residential conveyancing team.
The Role & Responsibilities:
- Assisting with running cases and carrying out all required administrative duties on a property transaction from initial instruction through to exchange and completion.
- Opening files electronically and setting up paper files including conflict & ID checks for client.
- Prepare correspondence and documents using digital dictation, closing, storage and retrieval of hard and soft files
- Liaising with clients and third parties, including estate agents and other solicitors during the course of the transaction.
- Dealing with telephone and email enquiries, typing, filing and general support duties.
- Using our case management system during the property transaction.
- Manage diary’s, book meeting rooms, prepare mail, arrange copying/scanning, alongside a whole host of admin duties
Person Specification:
- The successful candidate will be experienced preferably with a background in this area of law.
- This role requires a hardworking individual with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Able to communicate in a professional manner with internal and external contacts
- Commitment to providing excellent client care
- Excellent IT skills to include Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task
- Team-focus with a flexible “can do” and collaborative approach to working with others, but also able to work alone.
