Stephen James Enfield is looking for a Panel Technician. Your role As a Panel Technician, you will be responsible for repairing damaged bodywork, ensuring that your work is completed to the highest standards, in a safe and economical manner that adheres to Company and health and safety requirements. You will be working to high standards of quality and professionalism. The main duties of the role include: To inspect and assess the paintwork damage on vehicles prior to commencing work and adhere to the service instruction data To identify additional work and liaise with the Bodyshop Manager / Estimator / Advisor to obtain customer permission for it to be included and undertaken To be able to accurately use body realignment equipment for bodywork repairs To work to scheduled completion times To carry out in-progress inspections on work undertaken before passing to the paint shop Your profile To enjoy working in a fast-paced busy environment delivering high-quality workmanship to exceed customer expectations. Proven experience in the Paint, Dent and Repair industry working on basic and complex dents Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanical, Maintenance & Repair or equivalent. Proven experience working at a main dealer manufacturer or national or independent Accident Repair Centre Must be eligible to work in the UK and have a valid clean UK Driving Licence for a minimum of 1 year Rewards Stephen James values our employees and invests in personal development and training.
