Job description

We are seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Design Intern to join our team working on assets for our pub (No Such Place), and Student Event Company (Student Event Tickets). As a Graphic Design Intern, you will work closely with our marketing team to create visually stunning designs and graphics that promote our events, brand, and business.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 18:00

Responsibilities:

  • Designing marketing materials such as posters, flyers, social media graphics, and event programs
  • Update company websites with new text, menus, imagery, etc. – Don’t worry, we'll show you how it all works!
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop creative ideas for promotional campaigns
  • Creating and editing visual content for our website and social media platforms
  • Attend meetings and presentations as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in graphic design
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Understanding of design principles and techniques such as typography, layout, colour, hierarchy, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills able to multi-task
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Confidence to pitch ideas for new design concepts
  • Passion for graphic design and interest in the events industry
