Job Overview:
The purpose of this role is to ensure all products are packed to quality standards.
Responsibilities:
· Perform packing (folding and bagging) operations in accordance with time, quantity, and quality targets
· Carry out final checks and report print defects to the supervisor
· Place the items back into the correct cartons and ensure there are correct numbers of items in the carton
· Attach a swing tag to the garment and/or barcode sticker if requested by the customer
· Operate the folding machine in a timely manner if/when assigned by the supervisor
· Ensure production standards are met for quality and deadlines
· Maintain a high level of awareness and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
· Maintain a clean workstation and production floor
· Work with consistent speed and accuracy
· Work towards improving productivity without compromising quality
· Help and assist with tasks assigned by the supervisor
· Assist and work in other areas within the business as and when required
· Report any issues to the supervisor
· Follow safety procedures and company policies
· Always adhere to all company policies and procedures at all times.
· Ensure that Quality standard are achieved and maintained in all areas.
· Fill in all work cards neatly and completely as well as any other required document.
· Maximise efficiencies and performance across all machines and equipment.
· Ensure that good housekeeping is maintained across all areas of the plant.
· Have a proactive approach to Health and Safety and ensure adherence to procedures.
· Ensure that the movement of material is transacted correctly and on time.
· All other reasonable duties, as assigned
You will be working Monday - Friday 07.00 - 15.30
£10.50 per hour
