As part of our team, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Greet and welcome patients warmly, making them feel comfortable and at ease from the moment they enter our practice. Your friendly demeanor and professional attitude will set the tone for their visit.
  • Appointment Management: Efficiently book and adjust appointments, answer incoming calls, and update patient records as needed. Your organisational skills and attention to detail will contribute to the smooth operation of our practice.
  • Team Support: Assist our Directors and clinical team in maintaining the day-to-day operations of the practice. Your proactive approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will ensure that everything runs seamlessly.
  • Promotion of Services: Familiarise patients with our range of dental services and any special offers available. Your effective communication skills will help educate patients on the importance of dental care and encourage them to make informed decisions about their oral health.
  • Financial Management: Handle payment processing efficiently and with utmost confidentiality. Your trustworthiness and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring accurate financial transactions.
  • Administrative Tasks: Collaborate with our Operational lead to manage debt lists, conduct stock taking, and address any follow-up tasks. Your ability to multitask and prioritise workloads will be essential in these activities.
  • Diary Management: Maintain an organised schedule by booking appointments efficiently. Your excellent coordination skills will enable patients to receive the care they need promptly.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualities:

  • Calm and Professional Demeanor: Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
  • Administrative or Reception Experience: Previous experience in a similar role will be advantageous.
  • Positive and Personable: Demonstrate enthusiasm and a customer-focused approach, fostering a welcoming environment and fostering great teamwork.
  • Tech Savviness: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for efficient administrative tasks.
  • Strong Communication and Organisation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to stay organised in a busy setting.
  • Multitasking Abilities: Efficiently juggle multiple responsibilities and prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Preferred SOE experience - Dental Software: Familiarity with SOE Dental software is preferred; however, training will be provided for those without prior experience.
