Avaliable Job Today Abstract House is a leading UK manufacturer of art prints and picture frames. We are looking for a temporary passionate and experienced warehouse packer to start ASAP for a 2 Week Fixed Term Contract

Experience in a Packaging role is ideal, although full training will be provided.

This role will ideally suit a candidate who has excellent attention to detail and can work well on an assembly line.

About The Role

Our workshop is where all the magic happens. Our small but mighty team produce all of our picture frames and art prints. We combine the use of traditional handcrafted expertise along with the latest technology.

You will be packaging our artwork and frame orders on a daily basis, according to our processes to ensure minimal damage in transit so that our customers receive their artwork in perfect condition. There will be other ad-hoc duties as required including cutting sheet materials and assisting team members when required.

Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Full time position. £11 hour.

Responsibilities

  • Packaging our orders in accordance with our processes
  • Looking after stock to ensure it is stored safely for use
  • Replenishing stock
  • Following all health & safety guidelines and taking responsibility for your own and others safety whilst at work
  • Clearing own workspace at the end of each day and placing rubbish in designated bins/recycling bins
  • Using tools provided and training to run your workflow efficiently.
  • Working well both independently and as part of a team.

Experience

Ideal experience of working in a workshop or warehouse, but not essential as full training will be provided.
