Job Description:

Standard Plus Butchers Ltd is looking for a Cleaner / Packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading product from vans and lorries.
• Checking product boxes for damage and verifying accuracy of data
• Verifying accuracy of labels on product in order to meet company standards
• Reading and interpreting documents such as invoices, purchase orders, Delivery Notes etc.
• General housekeeping such as vacuuming offices, emptying Bins, etc.
• Assist with Haccap control and keeping accurate records of Haccap control in the warehouse
• Maintaining clean work areas (e.g., cleaning floors, Walls etc) using Steam Cleaner.
• Assist with Packing during busy periods.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, purchase orders, Delivery Notes, etc.
• General knowledge of housekeeping procedures to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility. This includes vacuuming offices, emptying Bins, Use of a steam cleaner etc.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision and work well with a team under pressure.
• Ability to follow instructions and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds consistently and be able to stand for long periods of time in a warehouse environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £7.49-£10.40 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dudley, DY2 8SY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
