Job description
Pickstock Foods Ltd is a family run lamb and sheep abattoir and cutting plant located outside of the village of Hartshorne near the town of Swadlincote in Derbyshire. We source lambs and sheep from around Great Britain as well as our own farms to supply to the domestic and export markets.
The factory is a 5 minute drive from junction 13 of the A42 and is located in a beautiful rural setting within the National Forest.
The factory and it's site has been recently renovated and modernised from 2019-2020 following relocation of the previous occupants in 2014 and features a brand new state of the art slaughter line and cutting plant.
We are now looking for Cutting Plant Packers to join our busy team.
You will have a minimum of 2 years experience within a meat packing plant holding a relevant Food Safety qualification.
Working within a chilled environment you will be packing and boxing lamb and mutton products to customer specifications.
Working as part of a team there is a team linked bonus scheme available.
This role provides the opportunity to learn transferable trade skills with the opportunity for progression within the company.
You will have good English written and oral communications

Reliable and Flexible with approach to work hours. Occasional weekend working is required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £10.42-£11.04 per hour
