Packing Operative
Location: Margate, Kent
Salary: £10.60 per hour

Our client is looking for a Packing Operative to join their busy team in Margate. -This is a temporary to permanent position, paying £10.60 per hour. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company who offers progression opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Lean thinking and the adoption of 5S, 7 Wastes and all other relevant tools
- Maintaining expected packing times for products and setting new targets for new products
- Timely packing of orders in line with customer expectations
- Ensuring all orders and packaging comply with individual customer requests.
- Ensuring all regulatory requirements are met
- Liaise with the Production and Purchasing Managers to ensure that customer required dates are achieved
- Forward planning of packing resources in the current and future months
- To drive efficiency improvements through the packing functions
- Other duties as deemed reasonable

- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a direct focus on customer satisfaction
