Job description
gap personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting 2 x experienced Picker/Packers to join their brand new company based in the Llantrisant area.
Our client is a busy, state of the art warehouse distributing its product throughout Europe. As such, they are looking to add new members of staff to their team. This role requires a high level of attention, accuracy and a previous working history of working as a picker/packer.
Contract: Temporary on going
Pay Rate: £10.42 per hour
Shifts: Monday-Friday 2pm-8pm (Training for first 4 days 11am-6pm)
Duties include (but are not limited to):
-Picking and packing of stock ready for dispatch
-Receive and check incoming pick tickets
-Locate products using technology
-Retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy
-Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks
-Wrap orders before loading on trucks
-Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment
-Keep records of completed order
-Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions
-Cleaning and maintaining work areas and machinery
-Storing goods and materials in the factory or warehouse
-Other general warehouse duties.
