Packaging Technology Coordinator
Who we are
The opportunity
The Packaging Technology Coordinators work within our Supply Chain team in Runcorn, supporting with and managing all change activities associated with primary and secondary Packaging Components. This involves coordinating all aspects of the artwork approval for new products and existing products in new markets.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
How you’ll spend your day
- Coordinate all aspects of artwork approval for new and existing products in new markets
- Liaise with stakeholders in a number of markets to define their expectations and working towards required launch dates
- Initiate and manage the process for change control, pallet configurations, outer case labelling, packaging component specifications and Bills of Materials using SAP and provide support to other related areas of the business.
- Work with vendors to improve material design and production efficiencies, minimise component testing, and provide cost savings opportunities
- Input all master data set-up and changes within the SAP ERP system in compliance with Global and site procedures
- Control all packaging artwork in compliance with Market and Regulatory requirements
- Support and provide the preparation of product structures, pallet configurations and packaging component specifications in line with cGMP guidelines, 21 CFR and ISO.
- Identify and support the continuous improvement and standardisation opportunities of packaging component rationalisation
Your experience and qualifications
Do you have?
- Experience working in a packaging technology or artwork co-ordination role ideally within the Pharmaceutical Industry
- Knowledge of printing processes for labels, cartons, leaflets and foils
- A broad knowledge of packaging materials, print, design, origination and Braille
- Highly functional computer software skills (Word, Excel, Adobe and SAP)
