The Opportunity
Are you looking for a career which is rewarding, at the cutting edge of project development and where you can really make a difference? Come and join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. The project is now seeking private investment with a view to start construction in 2024. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a PA and Project Support Officer to join SZC, for a group of technical Directors.
Our teams are set up to work flexibly. If you’re able to travel to the office to collaborate with your team and stakeholders typically 3 days per week, you can be based anywhere in the UK. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively.
The Role
You’ll provide a professional, accurate and reliable PA and administration support service to 3 Directors, communicating effectively with stakeholders both within the organisation and externally.
Working largely independently, you’ll be responsible for diaries and itineraries, document management, minute- taking, ensuring records are kept up to date and other ad-hoc administrative tasks all whilst working with discretion and confidentiality.
You’ll also collaborate with team assistants to ensure a professional and efficient administration support team for the Engineering and Delivery Team.
The Skills
If you’re a great administrator with a high- level of organisation and communication skills, then you’ll likely thrive in this role.
Attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to build strong relationships are key.
Previous experience in a PA or secretarial role would be essential, particularly from working in a large, complex organisation.
