As a Performance Marketing Specialist, you'll be responsible for working with the UK Performance Marketing Manager as well as agency partners (media and creative), you'll play an important role in managing targeted paid media for JLR Brands. The role will involve the management of always-on and tactical activity across core Paid media channels including Search, Social and Display, in close collaboration with Direct Comms and Website teams. Omnichannel journey planning, to deliver consistent and frictionless user journeys and continuous optimisation of all activity to increase enquiry by harvesting digital demand effectively.
You'll be responsible for delivery against key Performance Marketing and commercial business KPIs. Demonstrate the business impact of paid performance marketing via robust and transparent reporting. Playing a key specialist role within the UK daily performance marketing squad, including weekly trading calls with our agency partners and global leadership teams. Daily you will work with other teams of subject matter experts such as CRO, CRM, Dx and Analytics to review business priorities, analyse performance, to deliver actionable optimisations across the client journey. You'll be able to articulate business impact, and prioritise actions to drive greater business outcomes.
This is an exciting role at a global organisation with exposure to products across all four brands at JLR, with a flexible team, within a critical role and numerous opportunities to make empowering big decisions to provide a huge impact across the business.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Own the UK Paid Digital Performance marketing plan & optimisation framework (PPC, Display, Social, Autoverticals) and agency resource
- Attend and play a key role in daily cross functional Stand Ups
- Execute and report on a backlog of Paid media tests, optimisations and campaigns aligned to the commercial priorities
- Analyse, monitor, and report on media campaigns, developing actions and insights on channel effectiveness, next steps, and potential optimisations
- Critically, shape the role of Search (Paid and Organic) in driving direct revenue for JLR brands
- Have a relentless focus on the quality of traffic and be curious to improve performance across the client journey working with the website and CRO teams to improve conversion rates.
- Delivering performance marketing to support major national campaigns
- Apply target customer profile, customer insight and competitor intelligence to performance marketing programmes
- Leveraging the business reporting tools to continually optimise digital marketing activity i.e. reporting dashboards inc Tableau, Datorama, GA4
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
As the Performance Marketing Specialist, you'll need the following knowledge, skills and experience:
- Strong Paid Media Management and execution background, particularly in Search/Biddable Channels, Agency experience desirable
- Evidenced experience managing digital marketing Test and Learn projects
- Advanced Search Data and Analytics Skills
- Knowledge of SEO
- Fluent in core business tools inc. Excel, PPT, GA4, SA360, DV360, Tableau and other analytics platforms
- Budget Management
- Relationship and Partner Management
- Commercial mindset to drive business outcomes
- Communication and Presentation Skills
