Job description
Our company is seeking a hands-on, experienced Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with working with an overlocking machine, and will also be able to prepare equipment for daily use. A skilled sewing machine operator should be meticulous and detail-oriented to have good manual dexterity, focus, and patience, as well as the capacity to remain composed under pressure. The role requires a capacity to evaluate quality or performance; the capacity to build on one's own understanding of manufacturing operations and procedures.
Duties of Overlock Machinist include adhering instructions, assembling various filled products, such as cushions, pads, pillows, drawing threads through the machine and adjusting parameters for various jobs, overlocking clothing, samples, or other objects together, preventing product damage, comparing completed work to the pattern directions and conducting quality assurance inspections.

Salary: Up to £25,600.00 per year
