Job description

We are looking for Outreach Support Workers to join our team.

Various hours per week are available.

Rate of Pay £10.42 per hour.

28 days holiday pro-rata (including bank holidays) and company pension scheme available.

Enthusiastic Outreach Support Workers required to work with clients in the community Monday to Friday.

We are looking for staff who are warm, kind and reliable.

Duties include cleaning, shopping, escorting to appointments and being a companion.

A Full driving licence is essential. (maximum 6 points)

To undertake a variety of duties in clients’ homes which may include the following:

  • Shopping
  • Cleaning
  • Changing Beds
  • Laundry
  • Ironing
  • Sitting Service
  • Reading Correspondence

This list is not exhaustive

  • To operate equipment and use materials, ensuring that:

(i) Instructions are clearly understood.

(ii) Equipment is not faulty or dangerous.

  • To remove equipment and materials from clients’ homes after use.
  • To wear protective clothing where required and to check it is clean and serviceable.
  • To record tasks carried out on clients’ diary sheets.
  • To report to the manager on duty:

(i) Damage and breakages.

(ii) All matters relating to health, safety and welfare.

(iii) Any concerns regarding a client’s health and welfare

  • To carry out duties and respond as required in connection with any Quality System in place [e.g. IIP, ISO 9001:2008].
  • To carry out other associated duties, responsibilities and training as required from time to time by the Care Services Manager.
  • To maintain harmonious working relationships with clients and colleagues.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £10.42 per hour
