£26,265 - £27,810 per annum pro rata
Fixed-term until 31/03/2024
Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre (CRMC) is the only organisation in Coventry dedicated to providing impartial and confidential advice, guidance and support to asylum seekers, refugees and migrants living in and around the city. We are a local, medium-sized organisation which has been welcoming refugees and migrants since 2000. Our aim is to help people to rebuild their lives and achieve their full potential in safety and dignity whilst supporting integration and encouraging active citizenship.
We currently have a very exciting vacancy for an Outreach Worker. This position is being funded by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, in partnership with the Coventry City Council.
This role requires an energetic and highly organised professional to work with EU nationals, providing intensive outreach support to new and entrenched rough sleepers. The role will include meeting with individuals in encampments, offices, and in their homes to actively support them with a range of support needs, bring rough sleeping to an end, and prevent future episodes.
The post will be based at Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre, Norton House/Swanswell House, Bird Street, Coventry, CV1 5FX however work will be carried out at various locations within Coventry.
