Job Title: Outreach & Digital PR Specialist
Reports to: Head of Marketing
Salary: up to £35,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
Location: Bournemouth - Office Based or Remote Worker
A rare opportunity to work for a well-established leading financial services company with heaps of potential. Last year, Protect Line secured over £12 billion of life insurance cover for tens of thousands of UK families, despite our Marketing team being relatively small.
We are on the hunt for an experienced and skilful SEO link builder. We’re building up a bank of content and need someone with the skills to earn quality links to help increase our domain authority and get our content ranking faster.
Our performance marketing team generates thousands of quality leads each week, mostly through pay-per-click advertising and social media. It’s now time that we upgrade our online proposition, offering useful and informative content and use this to win over those families that are sitting on the fence and not sure who to trust.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable researching link building opportunities using tools such as Ahrefs, reaching out to webmasters to negotiate new links, explore mutually beneficial content partnerships, and use innovative techniques to earn Tier 1 links such as proactive PR.
We are a small but effective Marketing team, which means everyone’s voice is heard and we all work on building the strategy together. We are absolutely not starting from zero; we have a great website which is on track to bring in six-figures of revenue from organic traffic in 2023, in-house devs ensuring our loading speeds are always rated 98%+, full-time writers to produce fresh and relevant content, and multiple designers to keep users engaged! We have all the tools we need, except one, you!
What will you be doing?
- Work with our content writer to formulate hub and spoke content plans and identify niche opportunities
- Reach out and negotiate with webmasters
- Proactive ability to find dated and broken links along with virgin opportunities (including guest posting)
- Source links using proactive PR methods, Award entries and responding to HARO requests.
- Assist the Head of Marketing in identifying internal linking opportunities and work with our PPC team to identify high performing keywords
Key Requirements:
- The successful candidate should have strong of experience in link building outreach ideally using traditional and innovate, modern methods
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small team
- Exceptional written ability and attention to detail
- A self-starter who can prioritise their workload and structure their time effectively and independently.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices, tools and ability to work
- A creative thinker that can produce and execute innovative ideas.
