Legal Cashier - Norwich, Cambridge or East Midlands Norwich, England
Job description
We are seeking an ambitious and proactive Legal Cashier, to join our close-knit, friendly, accounts team in Northampton, Leicester or Norwich. This role is a full time office based role but we do understand that flexibility is essential for a good work life balance.
Some of the duties will include:
- Receiving incoming cheques
- Reconciling bank statements
- Sending and receiving money
- Checking completion statements
- Processing bills and assisting with their preparation
- Preparing cheques
- Transfers
- Journals
- Petty cash
- Taking card payments
- Foreign account transactions

A little about you:
- Knowledge of client accounting system including reconciliation to bank accounts
- Knowledge of SRA rule and regulations relating to client accounts
- Excellent communication skills
- Motivated, pro-active and highly organised
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to prioritise and manage a busy workload
