Healthcare Assistant | Spire Murrayfield Hospital - Edinburgh | Full time | Permanent
Spire Murrayfield Hospital are recruiting for a Healthcare Assistant to assist the multi-disciplinary team to provide exemplary care in the Outpatient Department and the inpatient wards when required.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Undertake routine tasks related to individual’s health and well-being
- Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals’ health and well-being needs
- Establish and maintain communication with people on routine care matters
- Contribute to own personal development
- Maintain own and others’ health and safety and security
- Contribute to the maintenance of quality care delivery
- Promote and protect peoples’ equality, diversity and rights
- Understand own responsibility with regard to infection control and contribute to reducing the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI)
Who we're looking for:
- Recent experience of working in a hospital, clinic or care environment
- Good communication/interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm and ‘can do’ attitude
- N5 Qualification or equivalent
- Venepuncture skills/Phlebotomy skills (training can be provided)
