Sprung Studios are looking for a UX/UI designer to join our team in Brighton.

In this role, you will be working closely with the team to create the best possible user experience for our players. Some of the objectives of this role will be to produce wireframes and prototypes, create and execute ergonomic interfaces, and come up with UI/UX enhancements for their games.

Responsibilities:

  • As a designer at Sprung Studios, you will be assigned to one of the many exciting game projects we have in the studio
  • With a good knowledge of interaction design and an eye for detail, you’ll produce creative and effective UX solutions for complex game mechanics and beautiful but well-considered visual designs
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-disciplinary team and develop game features to give players the best possible experience as well as working closely with our clients to take the design from concept to game launch
  • Apply and maintain a consistent premium user experience throughout the gaming interface across multiple platforms
  • Produce professional, considered, and annotated documents to showcase your work and – with the help of senior staff – use your communication skills to present your work and findings to clients via conference calls
  • Passion for gaming will allow you to carry out a comparative analysis of other relevant games, determining what makes them great and what can be learned from them

Requirements & Skills:

  • Excellent working knowledge of design software such as; Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and Figma
  • Visual design skills with an eye for Graphic Design, Typography, Motion Graphics, and Iconography
  • Ability to solve UX problems both creatively and effectively
  • Experience with UI design and up-to-date with the latest UI design trends.
  • You must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Confidence in presenting to clients both in person and via conference calls
  • A strong passion for games on all platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outgoing and innovative, with strong interpersonal skills
  • A desire to learn

This is not a remote position.

We are working in the studio with a hybrid model. Everyone will be in the studio on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Mondays and Fridays are a work-from-home option.
