We currently have a vacancy for a receptionist/admin support post in Clinical Haematology Outpatients Department working at City Campus. We are looking for a full time receptionist . We are looking for enthusiastic and well-motivated staff member who would like the opportunity to work in a fast paced positive developing environment. The applicants should have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner and good customer care skills. The post holders should also be able to prioritise and work well as members of a team, use their own initiative, maintaining accuracy with both verbal and written communication. In addition to the below summary you need to familiarize yourself with full Job Description and Person Specification documents attached to this advert The role entails managing reception, welcoming patients and ensuring that all relevant administrative tasks are completed to provide the expected high standard of care for patients in hospital. For this exciting and challenging role candidates need to be keen to develop their administrative and clerical skills and be a team player. Receptionist skills, experience in the NHS, knowledge of the hospital and use of NUH computer systems such as MEDWAY PAS and NOTIS would be a distinct advantage. The Outpatient reception is committed to providing the highest quality of care and maintaining consistently high standards in a professional and friendly atmosphere.
