Data Analyst
Glasgow
As a Barclays Data Analyst, you will be helping the business to implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by identifying the requirements of a project or program and communicating them clearly to stakeholders. For this role, part of your responsibilities is to join the Corporate Data Service teams in Glasgow and provide support to Senior Management team to ensure effective and efficient management of product resource forecasting and financial tracking.

- Providing support to the delivery of CDS Strategy initiatives, by contributing to financial management activities ranging from resource forecasting to cost tracker analysis
- Being involved in project & programme financial management including budget development, tracking actuals and variance, forecasting and risk analysis
- Managing resource data, analysing resource allocation and deployment to optimise resources and costs for project delivery
- Populating and refreshing monthly product cost trackers and reviewing with senior management
- Designing, setting up and maintaining project and programme workspaces that support delivery governance and drive data quality
- Supporting the analysis of new demand from the perspective of monies and resource availability
- Advanced MS Excel/MS PowerPoint skills
- Finance background working in Financial Control or Business Performance and Analysis
- Able to demonstrate previous evidence of curiosity, drive, energy, commitment
