Our Future Health – Healthcare Resource Specialist
Fixed Term/Secondment – 9 Months

We are looking for Healthcare Resource Support Manager to support the current Our Future Health stores and support the successful roll out of the new Our Future Health stores from a Deployment perspective.

Our Future Health, in partnership with the NHS, is aiming to be the UK’s largest ever health research programme, bringing people together to develop new ways to prevent, detect and treat diseases. Our Future Health will collect information from millions of volunteers across the UK in order to help people live healthier lives for longer through transforming the prevention, detection and treatment of conditions such as dementia, cancer, diabetes, heart disease and stroke.

People taking part in the research programme will be asked to provide information about their health and lifestyles and to provide a small sample of blood, their blood pressure measurement, weight, height, waist circumference and cholesterol reading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement a Mytime solution for Phlebotomist roles, and potentially wider Healthcare professional roles in future (e.g. nurses, Healthcare Specialists)
  • Work with the Testing and Diagnostics Team and Retail team to agree base rotas for Phlebotomists working in Our Future Health stores as part of the first 70 store roll out
  • Strong communication skills to liase with stakeholders across the business and externally
  • Develop escalation pathways for absence cover (holiday, sickness etc)
  • If appropriate support with setup of agency agreements for locum Phlebotomists
  • Support the wider deployment team
  • Forecasting of future deployment requirements for the Our Future Health programme
  • Appropriate management of spend against budget for required roles

  • Rostering experience
  • Working with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Able to work and make decisions calmy under pressure and to project deadlines
  • IT Proficient
  • Strong Communication skills
