About the role:

Like every other retailer New Look suffers a degree of fraud. Broadly speaking this role looks at 4 key areas: -

    Online Fraud
    Organised Retail Crime Gangs
    Internal Theft and Fraud
    Customer Contact Claims Fraud

About the role:

By utilising a number of systems to find links between seemingly unconnected transactions, the successful candidate will analyse, detect, and prevent fraudulent activity across stores and online. The person in this position will conduct background research on cases using Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) sources and create and build case packs to enable others comprehend the facts and present clear and simple evidence. Supporting the production of a variety of monthly and ad-hoc reports to inform and influence priorities will also be part of the job.

Essential and Desirable Skills

    Good computer-based skills with a keen desire to improve and build on current knowledge.
    Accuracy and good attention to details
    Able to work to tight and agreed deadlines and reprioritise work as required
    Good telephone manner and communication skills both written and verbal
    Able to express views confidently and keen to expand current knowledge base
    Inquisitive with good investigation skills


Knowledge and Experience

    Experience or qualifications demonstrating use of analysis tools such as Excel, Business Objects et c.
    Knowledge of fraud methods impacting retail stores and Ecommerce is desirable.
