Job description
We’re looking for a Site Surveyor to join our Utilities team in Norwich to work on our Anglian Water Alliance
Location: Ipswich
Contract: Permanent- Full Time
Responsibilities
Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected and in this role, you will be working on our Anglian Water Alliance.
As Site Surveyor, you will be assisting with pre design, construction and delivery of the capital solutions and other network improvement schemes that fall within your programme. This will include main laying schemes, lead replacement, internal plumbing, DMA/ DZ splits & meter replacements, planned reactive large diameter and complex burst mains.
Your day to day will include:
- Assisting with the transfer of information between the engineering and delivery elements of the production team
- Carry out intensive site-based investigations to promote optimum design solutions for a portfolio of schemes
- Undertake site surveys for each scheme assisting from design through to delivery
- Work alongside delivery agents, engineers, network partners and AW water services teams and feed any learning or improvement opportunities back into the design process
What are we looking for?
This role of Site Surveyor is great for you if you hold:
- Surveying experience & GS6 training
- NRSWA Supervisor, SSSTS or equivalent, EUSR Water Hygiene, Cat & Genny and Deep excavation/ shuttering or shoring experience
