Avaliable Job Today Transport Manager
Based out of Saltash, Cornwall we are looking for a Transport Manger to join our team full time on a 45 hour contract
- Responsible for the management of a busy fleet of tipper lorries, volumetric, grabs, road sweepers and artic' s operating across Devon and Cornwall
- Responsible for Transport Planning, Legal Compliance and Daily Operations
- Actively work along side Office & Workshop Manger
- Ensure compliance regarding working time legislation and operating license
- Effectively and efficiently manage Driving Team through coaching, mentoring and strive to develop both individuals and the whole team
- Maintain companies FORS accreditation
- Act as a relief driver for holiday / absence
You must have the following skills and experience
- Significant Transport Manager experience is essential
- CPC is essential
- HGV Class 2 is essential
- HGV Class 1 is desirable
- Grab Ticket is desirable
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
