The team
With the recent launch of ITVX, as ITV evolves from a TV brand to a streaming brand, it’s important the way we connect with our viewers is reflective of that. This is a new team within ITV Creative, to ensure we have creative excellence across every touchpoint, throughout the marketing funnel bringing performance marketing expertise to help us drive audience growth on ITVX.
The role
Reporting into the Creative Director of Performance marketing, You’ll be working on the “always on” performance marketing creative, to bring to life the marketing and media strategy for ITVX and ITV. Channels include: including paid social (Meta platforms and Tiktok), display, You Tube, Connected/Targeted TV and CRM. This would involve working closely with the relevant teams within ITV Marketing and Media, as well as the broader ITVC team.
This role will be coming up with creative concepts for digital paid media and using data to fuel creative decisions. Working hand in hand with the performance marketing team to understand what assets are working (or not) and driving results - a real opportunity to see what sticks and build from our learnings.
Coming up with disruptive strategic creative concepts and ideation for digital in response to briefs from the marketing team.
Aware of social and digital best practices but always pushing the boundaries to create visually compelling ideas.
Can oversee end-to-end creative, from initial concept, to storyboard, right through to final asset production.
Thinking of social and format first ideas that when relevant strategically and creatively tie into a wider campaign. This would include paid social, display, TV and CRM.
Understand how to create concepts and advertising for always on advertising with a direct response.
We're looking for an ambitious conceptual creative with a data driven and test and learn mindset. Ideally this person will come from a performance marketing background who can show tangible examples of campaigns/projects delivered that deliver a direct response.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
Experience within e-Commerce/streaming platforms/DTC marketing (either agency or brand side)
Proven examples of performance marketing campaigns where you have come up with the concept
Experience in performance marketing and understanding performance data to to help make creative decisions
A solid knowledge of social, paid media, CRM, data and analytics.
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)
Thinks platform first and understands the best practice principles for creative assets whether that be on Facebook, display or YouTube to drive action.
Someone who can challenge the status quo, to ensure we’re creating disruptive creative to achieve ITVXs goals.
A people person, who can work collaboratively with the broader ITVC team, as well as form strong relationships with Marketing and Media (performance marketing teams specifically) as well as potentially the commissioning team and production teams.
Can build out a top line idea by either designing (not mandatory) it or storyboarding it to brief into designers.
Ideally had previous experience in advertising, but not essential.
