Job description
The Wholesale Glass Co. is a successful and fast growing e-commerce company located in Croydon, Surrey. We're now looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to join our expanding team.
The role is to receive orders via our website, prepare and issue accurate order confirmations, consult with our packing team with regards to stock of our glazing tools and accessories, select the correct courier for the type of delivery and ensure that all goods are dispatched on time. Other duties will be to assist in stock management and to help maintain the smooth running of the logistics of our small and friendly company. You will also be required to take 'offline' orders by telephone throughout the day.
This is a full time role and will be an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to make a valuable contribution and build a career in eCommerce and retail logistics.
The right candidate should have some experience of working in customer services, be proficient in Microsoft excel, word and outlook, have a good telephone manner and be well motivated and willing to work as part of a team.
Duties include:
- Processing online and offline orders
- Overseeing our picking and packing team
- Liasing with couriers, UK and international
- Checking and ordering stock
- Ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction are maintained
Working hours are 8am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
