Responsibilities: As a Contracts Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiating contracts to managing renewals and amendments.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.
  • Identify potential legal and contractual risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
  • Draft, review, and maintain legal documentation, contracts, policies, and correspondence.
  • Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and partners, ensuring contractual obligations are met.
  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance to internal teams, executives, and project teams.

Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role, preferably in a management consulting firm or related industry.
  • Sound knowledge of contract management principles, with experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts.
  • In-depth understanding of legal and regulatory requirements, with the ability to provide practical advice and ensure compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks, devise solutions, and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management abilities to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
