Responsibilities: As a Contracts Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiating contracts to managing renewals and amendments.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.
- Identify potential legal and contractual risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Draft, review, and maintain legal documentation, contracts, policies, and correspondence.
- Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage relationships with vendors and partners, ensuring contractual obligations are met.
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to internal teams, executives, and project teams.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role, preferably in a management consulting firm or related industry.
- Sound knowledge of contract management principles, with experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts.
- In-depth understanding of legal and regulatory requirements, with the ability to provide practical advice and ensure compliance.
