Junior Audience Development Manager
London
Join BMG's Global Digital team as a Junior Audience Development Manager and help our artists grow and engage their online fanbase. In collaboration with our Global Digital team, you'll develop and implement comprehensive audience development strategies for both Catalogue and New Recordings, helping our artists share their unique stories, personalities, and, most importantly, their music across various digital platforms. From innovative digital campaigns to social media channels and beyond, your creativity and expertise will help us drive engagement and growth.
What You'll Be Doing.
- Collaborate with the Audience Development Manager to create and execute a comprehensive audience development strategy for artists.
- Support BMG's Digital and Marketing teams throughout campaign cycles and ensure continuous marketing and long-term consumption.
- Develop an authentic tone of voice and presence for artists by working with artist management or digital representatives.
- Possess a sophisticated understanding of artist fanbases, demographics, and new potential audiences.
- Develop strategies for data capture and audience engagement across email databases and SMS.
- Identify new platform opportunities, areas of development, and potential partnerships to elevate artists and expose them to new audiences.
- Commission and create authentic digital-first content for artists that responds to emerging online trends and ensures continued growth and high engagement.
- Compile and present insightful reports on activity, performance, growth, and learnings to the label and artist management.
Who You Are.
- Experience in a digital marketing or social media role with a media or entertainment focus.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office programs, and WordPress CMS.
- Strong interest in music and media.
- Able to brainstorm and develop content, story-telling, and marketing ideas through to execution.
- Able to prioritize, multi-task, and manage time efficiently in a busy department.
- Conscientious, creative, analytical, and proactive.
- Able to build effective and collaborative working relationships, both internally and externally.
- Commercially focused and motivated.
- Experience in managing CRM, marketing database, email, and social media channels.
- Basic grasp of animation and working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
