Job description
CareerMakers Recruitment is looking for Order Pickers to work for our client based in Preston, Tarleton, PR4 area, they're a well-known fresh produce manufacturer of a range of products.
Our client specialises in processing, packing, and distributing a wide range of high-quality fresh produce to major supermarkets in the UK and processing factories.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Follow the company processes and procedures in relation to food safety.
- Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner in accordance with instructions and to comply with safety rules/procedures/regulations and report any unsafe practice or condition.
- Follow the clean as you go policy and maintain high standards of personal hygiene.
- Order picking, order assembly and packing.
- Load and unload vehicles
- Driving (PPT) powered pallet truck - full training provided.
- Complete written paperwork.
- Assist in day-to-day operation and provide cover and support to other operatives if necessary.

Working hours:
Monday-Saturday: 7:00am – 15:00pm (early shift)
Monday-Saturday: 14:00pm – 23:00pm (late shift)
5 days out of 7 (Sunday off & a day during the week)
*2 Lates & 2 Early’s per week + 1 day weekend (Saturday)
Pay rate: 10.94 £ /h.
Overtime after 40 hours: 13.68 £ /h
*Temp to perm for right candidates
*Due to start time and location own transport is essential
