Job description
Class 2 HGV Multi-drop Driver
Salary: £32,240, plus £1,500 attendance pay
Working Monday - Friday (occasional Saturday)
Bodmin, Cornwall
If you’re looking for a driving career rather than a driving job – then this is the ideal opportunity for you. As the largest food service provider in the UK, we offer a level of security, stability and opportunity that’s hard to find. Together with some of the best benefits in the business. Things like heavily discounted high-quality food that could help halve your food shopping budget, standardised shifts with permanent Sundays off and world-class training and development.
Join us as a driver and the sky really is the limit. You’ll start with a thorough nine-week induction that’s both on the road and in the classroom. We’ll move at your pace. You’ll gain experience, learn your route with a Training Support Driver and when you’re ready – set out on your own. As a Multi-drop driver, you’ll be picking stock from the back of your van at each stop, which keeps your day interesting and breaks the driving up. It keeps you fit too.
What’s really special about a driving career with us though, is the time and money we spend on helping you to develop and grow. If you’re a newly qualified Class 2 driver, you’ll gain valuable experience in a driving role. In fact, we've just scooped the Training Award at the Motor Transport Awards 2022. If you’re an experienced driver, our coaching and training opportunities could support you to develop into fleet management, planning and many more senior level roles. We also offer some pretty impressive benefits too:
- Generous annual leave with option to buy more
- Heavily discounted quality food, hotels and restaurants
- Reward, recognition and referral schemes
- Free food days, family days and summer BBQs
- Pension scheme
- Charitable events to get involved with
- Cycle to work scheme
- Free onsite parking with electric points
- Occupational Health Physio on site
-
A health and wellbeing programme, to look after you.
People will always need to eat. So, we’ll always need to deliver food.
