Job description
Primarily, the position is to operate a metal processing shear in our Inverkeithing facility.
Additionally to assist with the general maintenance of the shear in accordance with procedures and manufacturers guidelines, and keeping inspection records.
Provide the best possible turnaround for the shear whilst also ensuring the correct quality standard expected by the company.
Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
May be required to operate other machinery within the yard as necessary
Ideally experienced in working in heavy industry/scrap metal processing with knowledge of machinery
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Experience:
- scrap metal machinery operation: 3 years (preferred)
