We are a private household with a small family and a small team who work from the house.
We are seeking a professional House Manager/PA to work for our Private family based in Notting Hill. Candidates must have previous private house, PA experience . You should be confident, with strong administrative and communication skills and good with children and dogs. The role is permanent, full-time & live-out. Typical working week will be 9.30-18.30 Monday to Friday, but flexibility is required and some weekend work will be necessary.
Duties will include:
· Acting as the first point of contact for the household
· Daily receipt of deliveries and management thereof.
· Deal with correspondence including emails, post and phone calls
· Diary management Organizing meetings, appointments, and birthdays.
· Maintain the house’s condition and arrange necessary repairs.
· Ensure all household supplies are always on hand in required quantity.
· Supervise the work of contractors, service people, and work with household and non-household employees ensuring the highest quality of work.
· Manage of all emergency and non-emergency situations in the house (such as leaks, accidents, equipment disconnections), and preparation of reports to its owner.
· Work with bookkeeper to manage all household bills and ensure timely and accurate payment.
· Develop and manage proposed budgets for the running of the household.
· Supervise and maintain the cleaning and tidiness of the household to ensure the highest standards at all times.
· Manage the inventory of the property, organizing and conducting monthly checks. Produce shopping lists and the like.
· Manage daily F&B of the household including working with the principals in producing weekly menus, managing first in first out use of produce and ensuring minimal wastage.
· Liaising with a team of staff and delegating / sharing information to the team on behalf of the principal
· Booking and arranging travel to include transport, accommodation, restaurants
· Capable of providing hands-on skills in the total oversight, running and development of various properties and travelling with the principal, to ensure they are developed and maintained.
· Manage staffing and ensuring the general smooth running of the principals’ lifestyle.
· Manage HR processes for the household including: The onboarding of new hires; Interviewing; Training; Performance reviews; Rotas; Holidays; Sick days; And absences.
· Help plan and organize events and functions.
Ability to travel, and valid driving license for UK essential.
Salary £55,000.00 negotiable based upon experience.
