Bindon Engineering - Skilled Mill-Turner Vacancy - 2023
Bindon Engineering, is a privately owned business established in 1965 with over 50 years experience, predominately in the oil, gas and nuclear sectors.
In 2009 it moved to it’s current location in Holton Heath, to a modern 36,000 sq ft factory on a 3½ acre site, to provide a much increased production capacity, currently employing over 50 employees, working round the clock, both day and night.

Bindon is currently seeking a Skilled CNC Mill-Turner Setting & Operating.
Your main responsibilities will involve;
- Reading & interpreting engineering drawings
- Following work instruction sheets to aid setting
- Setting & Operating a range of Doosan Lynx & Puma machines
- Using Fanuc Operating Systems
- Producing parts to ISO9001 Standard
- Editing of Programs to make slight adjustments
- Tolerance Control
- Inspecting own work before submitting in for first off inspection
- 5S and Maintaining a good standard of housekeeping
- Adhering to Health & Safety
Your skills and qualifications as a skilled Mill-Turner;
- Experience of CNC machining
- Able to use Fanuc Operating System (Offset Alterations/Tool Setting/Program Editing)
- 'C Axis' Experience
- At least 2 years CNC Experience
What we are looking for in you;
Adept with FANUC Controls and have a solid experience in the engineering manufacturing industry. Be a self-motivated setter/operator who can also work proactively as part of a team with a ‘can do’ attitude, working on your own initiative and be confident setting up the machines.
