The purpose built manufacturing site has the perfect blend of Conventional UV Flexographic and HP Digital printing, Silk Screen and Foil capabilities, complemented by a full in-house pre-press department that provides complete control over colour management.
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our studio team at Berkshire Labels, as a Reprographics Artworker in a permanent position reporting to the Studio Manager.

The ideal candidate will have experience within a high pressured reprographics environment. Primarily, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to adapt and create artwork based upon different print and finishing processes to meet the clients desired outcome. Due to the variety each brief offers, including digital and conventional print processes printing onto many different formats from self adhesive labels to shrink sleeves, versatility and the desire to learn will be key. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is essential with experience of Esko plugins, automated workflows and GMG colour management as an added advantage.
Routine Responsibilities:
- Preparing customer supplied artwork for various print processes
- Colour matching using our GMG integrated process once customer approval received
- Sending print ready files to press using automated workflows
- Liaising with account managers to ensure the client gets their desired outcome
- Liaising with press operators to ensure the best outcome is achieved
Experience/Skills:
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on Illustrator & Photoshop
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Flexible
- Detail-oriented, well organised and able to work well with minimal supervision
- Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge effectively
- Able to work well under pressure
- Good eye for detail including colour matching
- Knowledge of digital/flexographic printing processes (desired, training will be given)
Salary: Negotiable, £23,000 to £26,000 per year (dependant on experience)
This role involves shift work
