The Role
At this time we are looking to recruit highly motivated candidates that will be joining our Technical Support Group (TSG) within the Engineering organisation. Our TSG engineers support the whole BA Mainline fleet as well as the BA Euroflyer fleet. The successful candidates will be offered a position based at the BA Engineering Base in Heathrow airport.
We are looking for licence engineers who have experience in aircraft maintenance (as a B1/B2 license holder) or experience in Engineering & Technical Support environments.
As a TSG engineer you will have direct involvement and responsibility in managing repetitive defects across all our fleets, definition of proactive and preventive maintenance actions, in-depth troubleshooting guidance, repair design, air safety report triage and initial response, and delay root cause analysis. TSG engineers are the principle point of contact between the aircraft manufacturers (OEMs) and the British Airways Maintenance Organisation. No two days are the same in this dynamic role.
The candidate will need to have an Engineering technical background with the ability to hold CAA / EASA approvals and BA company approvals, hold an HNC / HND or equivalent in an Aerospace Engineering subject, recognised Aircraft Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent industry experience, B1 / B2 Licence without Type rating, the ability to hold and exercise EASA. Part 145 Technical Engineer / Part 21 CCE or CVE approvals will also be a qualification to highly consider for the role.

Please note these positions are shift-based roles. As your career develops in TSG you will get the opportunity to participate in specialist training including type training, manufacturer-delivered systems training and Part 21 repair design.
