Come and make a difference at Karbon as an Operations Surveyor
We are looking to appoint two suitably qualified and experienced individuals to undertake the role of Operational Surveyor(s). One of the vacancies is within our Responsive Repairs teams and the other within our Empty Homes team.
About the role
We have a number of vacancies within our Property Services teams. These roles have become available due to our continued growth in the North-East and as part of our on-going commitment to provide as many good quality homes as we can; to deliver excellent service to our customers; and to shape strong, sustainable places for our communities.
About you
The Operations Surveyor will be responsible for undertaking a whole range of maintenance surveys, within either our occupied or empty homes.
You will need to work collaboratively with all stakeholders, identifying repair requirements, preparing reports and schedules of work, reporting and logging repairs, ordering materials etc.
For the vacancy within the responsive repairs team, this is a customer facing role that requires excellent communication and customer service skills, a committed team approach, and a thorough understanding of current building practices in what is a fast moving repairs and maintenance environment.

There are 2 vacancies available – one within our Responsive Repairs team and the other within our Empty Homes team. - Salary is £33,932 per annum (pending pay award)
- Location: Throughout the North East
- Essential car user allowance (own car to be used)
- 37 Hours per week
