Job description
- Performing the reconciliation of the C79 certificate and Postponed VAT statement, ensuring the necessary documents are available (C88, commercial invoice) to evidence this
- Contacting delivery companies and customs brokers to obtain missing documentation and where necessary advise on amendments
- Follow-up on customs records to ensure correct “importer of record” and import VAT charged to correct party
- Find and correct import entries that are incorrectly allocated to Carl Zeiss Ltd
- Ensure Carl Zeiss Limited’s import VAT is only for imports on behalf of Carl Zeiss Ltd
- Directing day-to-day customs queries to the correct place
- Manage calibration, sending to and from calibrators, quotes/POs, recording inbound, allocating and sending to FSEs.
- Manage FSE PPE/ consumables/ Tools/ Work wear/Engineer stickers/FSE address management
- IHR – OBF resale viability questionnaire
- Engineer returns – provide 24hr turn around of UPS labels – adding parts to returns list
- Support Supply Chain and Logistics during busy periods
- Any other ad-hoc support for the team as required
