As the Operations Specialist you will join the Tesla Trade In Operations team, supporting sales, delivery and operational efforts throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The team handles every vehicle that our customers trade in when purchasing their new Tesla, from the Supercar to the humble hatchback and every model of Tesla we have sold.

Day to day responsibilities
- Due to Tesla’s incredible growth and demand you will be responsible for the building and scaling of all our processes to keep up with our customer’s insatiable appetite to support us with our mission.
- Working very closely with our customers to ensure their Trade In vehicle can be received by Tesla.
- Managing all aspects of the customer’s Trade In journey.
- Validating and ensuring Tesla’s Trade In requirements are met, carrying out documentation and finance background checks.
- Engaging with our customers to develop and nurture strong brand loyalty, managing their expectations, answering queries of a very general nature as well as those that are laser focused on the details.
- One moment you may be using all the communication tools at our disposal to reach out and influence thousands of customers to using the telephone to obtain the information we require.
- Managing all aspects of our growing Leased customer base who reach the end of their contract and want to return their vehicle in the simplest and most convenient way.
- Supporting our internal Tesla teams and team member enquiries, related to our specialist area.
- Preventing where possible but also supporting with Customer escalations.
- Liaising with other key business partners both internal and external to Tesla, including finance companies, HPI CAP, Tesla delivery locations in a multitude of arenas including financing, invoicing, refund payments and due diligence checks.
- Reviewing customer submitted documentation for authenticity, accuracy and relevance to their Trade In vehicle and purchase plans.
- Complying with and managing internal customer resolutions procedures.
- Completing our Team’s day-to-day tasks and operations, whilst identifying, recommending and driving necessary process improvements.
- Ensure all internal processes and external communications are compliant and report any potential irregularities and shortcomings.
- Constantly search for ways to optimise, reduce or eliminate unnecessary tasks.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with local Sales and Delivery teams across the country.
- Showing adaptability and flexibility to support the different needs of the business in relation to the sale and delivery of new vehicles on an ad-hoc basis.
What You’ll Bring

- Fantastic Customer Service, not necessarily from within the Motor Trade.

- Administrative, automotive experience preferred, but not essential.
- Great problem-solving skills, and strong ability to take initiative and to be proactive.
- Positivity, enthusiasm and a passion towards the mission of Tesla.
- Able to communicate, read, and write effectively in the English language on all levels.
- Good knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.
- Hold a Full UK driving licence for 2 years or more.
