Overall purpose:
The Operations Project Officer is a key operational role in the School. The post holder will support the DSOM and the Operations Manager to deliver operational activity and provide advice and guidance to colleagues across the School. The post-holder will line manage a team of operational staff. Operating as part of the School Operations Team and reporting into the DSOM the postholder will undertake projects on behalf of the School and provide support to Departments as required. They will engage in Communities of Practice, to achieve continuous business improvement and standardisation, working closely with business partners throughout the Faculty and wider University The post holder will be aligned to a Department within the School, but will be employed by the School and as such may be required to support other areas, across the School
