You will be part of a newly build Global team as desire to deliver best in class service, effective communication, cost awareness and continuous performance which supports our growth aspirations and the success of our customers within Project Logistics.
The position is be based in London, UK
Key responsibilities
As an Operations Manager, you will be a part of a team of 180 experienced colleagues in the Maersk Project Logistics product in Europe, where we strive to deliver the best service for our customers. The position is newly established and require an entrepreneurial mindset to further build the executional team in Europe.
The position requires an entrepreneurial mindset with initial task of building on the team across UK. Together with your team you will play a key role in designing tailor-made logistics solutions and coordination of various projects for our customers as well as being part of our accelerated growth within our segment.

Your main responsibilities will be:
  • Build a team with a UK footprint initial 6-8 employees
  • Expanding the team throughout the UK with our growth & expansion within the UK market.
  • Coordination and planning of solutions for our global customer via your team in close cooperation with our customers
  • Project coordination and execution, including on ground supervision via your team
  • Leading the Continuous improvement towards our customers

Required experience & skills:
  • Proven Leadership skills
  • Entrepreneurial knowledge of building teams cross countries
  • Experience from Project execution within is an advantage, but not a requirement
  • Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written fluency in English
  • A collaborative mindset with a “can do” attitude
  • Eagerness to be best in class and part of a winning team
  • Ability to be flexible when needed as our job is not always 8-16
  • Ability to travel approx. 10-15 days a year
