More detail about the role: The role will support the team of Monitoring Officers to complete the programme of cleaning audits in Trust premises across all geographical areas of the Trust and provide regular feedback and updates including comprehensive reports for monitoring of Trust KPI's. The audits are carried out using specific IT based software. The role will also be responsible for supporting existing staff training as well as new starters within the Division, providing and delivering a training programme for mandatory and statutory training, supporting Department Managers to ensure that all their staff are compliant as well as delivering EFM Induction programme of awareness and training to new starters within the Division.

The Operations Manager is also responsible to day to day management of the Bank Co-ordinator, ensuring that we are maintaining and growing our Staff Bank and supporting Departmental Managers, ensuring we have sufficient bank staff to meet the demands of the Department. The role will also involve the line management of our Graphics Department, working with the Graphics Supervisor to provide an efficient service to the Trust and to manage any external contracts. You will need to be passionate and enthusiastic about patient care putting patients at the heart of everything you do. You will be working in a multi-professional team and will need to be able to think on the spot and be empathetic.

You will be passionate about our business, creating a culture of continuous improvement. The post holder will be based at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital (Wonford) and will be required to travel trust wide to fulfil the duties of the role. You should be highly motivated, reliable, and flexible. You will require good IT skills and an ability to analyse information and present it in an easy to understand format.

Experience in auditing and training is not essential to the role, but would be desirable. Also the ability to provide a positive approach and image when working with relevant groups throughout the Trust.
