Job description
We are seeking a professional and experienced Operations Manager/House Manager to join and manage private household in Mayfair. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a prominent business family and oversee the smooth operation and management of their estate.
As Head of Operations, you will lead and develop a team of F&B, Kitchen and Housekeeping services.
Responsibilities:
· Ensure efficient management and organization of household operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and coordination of daily activities.
· Oversee budgets, financial matters, and maintain financial records.
· Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to ensure the smooth running of the property and coordinate any necessary repairs or maintenance.
· Coordinate and oversee household staff, including training and performance management.
· Manage household inventories, including procurement of supplies and equipment.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Proven experience as an Operation Manager, House Manager, or similar role in a high-end private household.
· Strong organizational and managerial skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Knowledge of household systems, maintenance, and technical equipment.
· Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.
· Discretion, confidentiality, and a professional attitude.
· High attention to detail and a proactive approach.
· Flexibility to work occasional late evenings and weekends as required.
