We are currently recruiting for our Industry operations team due to internal promotions and team growth to head support company growth.
Industry Operations is responsible for a combined Gas and Power portfolio of over 30TWh. The primary responsibility of the team is the accuracy and compliance of the data used in both settlement and billing of over a quarter of million commercial customer locations
The manager’s role is to lead, engage, coach, develop and manage your team (of up to 13 people), and deliver an exceptional service to all stakeholders. You will also be expected to demonstrate strong knowledge and application of management for your team and business area. Planning, prioritisation and organisation of the workload and objectives is key to your success. You continuously review, develop, and improve team/department processes/procedures.
Working closely and ensuring excellent communication and coordination with the other teams to provide a seamless experience for the customers (internal and external).

About you
Previous experience in an operations or management role along with proficient IT skills; We are looking for an individual who is committed to providing excellent customer service and thrive in fast paced environment. Ideally, you will be extremely organised, confident, have great attention to detail.
Role Details:
Salary: Up to £36,000
Bonus: Up to 20% up to £7,200 payable yearly
Location: Newcastle
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Build and maintain strong relationships

- Understanding of the customer journey
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven Team Management Experience
- Understanding of the customer journey in line with the managing of compliance with the industry codes – BSC, REC etc.
- Experience of dealing with complex data and being able to produce meaningful analysis
