Job description
We are looking for a strong operations manager to manage all aspects of the food and beverage and events operations for our Hotel and Pub in London Greenford.
You will be comfortable in leading a small team, implementing change, and turning an existing F&B outlet into a profitable operation. You won’t be shy of getting stuck right in and are hands-on in terms of service delivery and customer experience.
This is a full-time role with a salary of £30,000 per annum and includes companywide benefits like workplace pension, a discretional bonus, free parking (just off the A40) and much more.
About the hotel/pub:
The Bridge has 68 guestrooms, 3 meeting & events rooms for up to 120 people, a busy pub with outside terrace and is located in Greenford, Middlesex, just off the A40 Western Avenue and within easy reach of Wembley. Having recently joined the Starboard Hotels family and formerly being a Young’s pub, The Bridge Hotel offers a great opportunity for a dedicated Operations Manager to make a direct impact, drive profitability and introduce improvements to the current operational performance.
About the role:
You will be in charge of the F&B operations of the pub and the hotel
You will have a proven track record in improving profitability and managing costs
You will be able to deliver a seamless events experience from the first contact to the last order for meetings and social events of up to 120 people
Stock counting, menu management are not new to you
About you:
You must have 3 years of experience in a similar role in a hotel, pub or restaurant
You will know what it takes to turn around an F&B operation
People like to work with you and for you, you are an excellent communicator and an inspiring leader
Customer service and guest experience is your mantra to a perfect visit/stay
You are flexible with your work patterns as you know a pub/ hotel is a 24/7 operation
