About the Disrupt Events:
Disrupt Events are the go-to event organisers for clients and brands who want a fully customised experience that is expertly executed anywhere. Working with big brands and large social media content creators.
Disrupt Events is seeking an Events Manager to join the Events department. The main purpose of this role is to support the delivery of all events taking place with clients of Disrupt. You should have previous events management experience within a corporate or business environment.
About The Role
We are looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic individual, to assist the co-owner of Disrupt Events as his personal intern!
As part of our events team, you will carry out duties under the direction of the Director, working with influnecers and content creators across different events.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Tasks you will learn about and undertake include:
You will learn how to liaise with suppliers, venues and freelancers. Handle diary coordination and office administration.
You will learn about event production, from conception through to completion.
This internship will involve the preparation and organisation of marketing materials, learning about database mail and newsletters.
You will build and maintain relationships with venues, suppliers and partners.
You will learn how to manage the booking process, draw up contracts, brief clients and coordinate logistics from enquiry to completion.
The most suitable intern for this position would be the following:
- Excellent organisational ability, you are numerate and have excellent communication skills.
- Display initiative, you are sales & target driven and you have high quality written skills and strong spelling and grammar.
- Able to multitask and handle conflicting priorities and deadlines. ATTENTION TO DETAIL ESSENTIAL.
- Strong work ethic, you are tenacious, a strong communicator and relationship builder with great people skills.
- Catalan and English speaking
- Hold a Valid passport and visa if required
Experience:
- Digital marketing: 1 year (preferred)
- Events management: 1 year (preferred)
