We are Kentro Capital, the parent company for Nexus Underwriting, a global specialty MGA, and Xenia Broking, one of the largest credit insurers.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Facilities team as a Group Receptionist in our London head office in Leadenhall Street. This is a broad role, encompassing not only front of house reception duties, but supporting the management of our facilities, helping to organise and run events, and supporting any general administration tasks as may be required.
We are looking for someone to join the team who loves what they do, are enthusiastic, and willing to get involved with all aspects of the role.
Please note that this role will require some heavy lifting and occasions where you may be required to work longer hours on-site to support our events. The role will also be office based in London five days a week.
What will you be doing?
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Be the welcoming face of our business. Meeting and greeting all our employees, clients and visitors. Providing refreshments and service
- Monitoring visitor attendance and security arrangements, including fire safety
- Answering telephone calls and directing these to the correct person
- Collating and distributing incoming mail and organising courier collections and deliveries
- Management of stock, including refreshments and general office supplies. Ensuring this stock is regularly replenished
- Maintaining the presentation of communal areas such as reception, our broker lounge, refreshment areas and meeting rooms
- Assisting with catering arrangements for certain meetings, supporting the set-up and removal of food and any tableware
- Management of our booking system for meeting rooms and desks
- Administrative tasks, including but not limited to booking travel, scanning and photocopying
- Supporting with the arrangement and planning of events held in our office. This may require you to remain in the building after hours until the last guest departs
- Adhering to our dress code and presenting a professional image representative of our brand

Qualifications
- We are looking for someone who has experience in a front of house or facilities role, ideally within a fast paced industry such as hospitality
- A positive can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills and team work
- An eye for detail
- Ideally educated to GCSE standard, with a Grade C or above in GCSE English and Maths

Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
