The Company
Seriös Group are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our friendly and growing team.
Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, Seriös Group are a boutique data and test solutions provider working across multiple industry sectors.
The Role

We are looking for a motivated and highly driven individual, a natural collaborative leader and someone who is eager to drive and shape the overall business operations of our growing company with an excellent culture.
Reporting directly to the CEO you will oversee the operations of all areas of the business including finance, marketing, compliance, people and delivery. You will deliver an excellent service and processes that will positively impact our delivery teams and core functions. You will pro-actively review processes, procedures and technologies which will ultimately help us to grow and become more efficient.
In your role, you will also be responsible for and ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to our ISO-27001 and 9001 accreditations.

Your role will include but not limited to:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations for the full organisation, leading and managing key business areas which will include our finance, people, recruitment and resourcing, L&D, and marketing, in addition to our delivery operations across both Data and Test services.
- Lead the day-to-day operations of our internal information security and IT practices together with our IT partners.
- Overseeing compliance with regulations and standards across all the organisation.
- Input on strategy creation alongside senior management.
- Provide reporting to the CEO and board.
- Developing policies that align with strategy.
- Implementing effective standards and processes.
- Manage budgets and costs to deliver financial targets.
- Establishing and developing our Business Continuity Programme.
- Liaise with our Directors on technology and process improvement investment decisions.

Experience required for this role:
Required:
- 5+ years' experience within a similar position, preferably in a similar industry.
- Excellent leadership qualities and previous management experience.
- Exceptional commercial awareness
- Strong knowledge in regulatory and standards compliance.
- Previous experience with ISO compliance would be an advantage.
Person Specification
- A strategic thinker with a pro-active approach.
- Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines, whilst dealing with several areas and initiatives simultaneously.
- Independent, with the ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build and maintain effective internal and external working relationships at all levels.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
This role profile is not exhaustive; it will be subject to periodic review and may be amended to meet the changing needs of the business. The post holder will be expected to participate in this process and we would aim to reach agreement to the changes.
