Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Central Data Operations Manager to join the Central Data Team. As the Central Data Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimising our data operations processes.
Key responsibilities:
Data Operations Management:
- Oversee end-to-end data operations, including requirements gathering, data mapping, validation, and dataset delivery.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure requirements delivered and maintain best practice process that are scalable and efficient.
- Monitor data processes and work with developers to troubleshoot issues to minimise data downtime and ensure data availability.
- Implement data governance and maintain data best practice to ensure quality and standardisation.
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation, and standardisation to enhance data operations efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline data workflows, reduce manual effort, and minimise data errors.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends in data operations and leverage them to drive innovation.
- Develop and maintain data operations documentation, including standard operating procedures, best practices, and guidelines.
Data Governance and Quality:
- Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
- Establish data quality metrics, monitor data quality issues, and lead initiatives to improve data accuracy and consistency.
- Design and enforce data access controls, data classification, and data retention policies.
Essential Requirements & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Data Operations Manager or in a similar role, managing data operations in a pan European environment.
- Knowledge of data management concepts, including data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
- Understanding of data integration, data modelling and data warehousing.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple countries.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Commitment to delivering best practice.

- Adaptability to changing priorities and ability to learn new.
- Use of Power BI and Power BI Service an advantage
